There are a few West Point grads and fans who regularly comment on the site, so this is for them.
Sincere condolences to the Army West Point Black Knights for the loss of cornerback Brandon Jackson, a sophomore (Cadet Third Class) who died in a single-car accident on Sunday, Sep 11-- one day after Army's win over Rice. Jackson's teammates showed an outpouring of love and emotion for their fallen brother on social media.
I still can't believe the news we received this afternoon. We all love you bro. RIP Brandon Action Jackson #BJack pic.twitter.com/B80BEyoblA

Yesterday, as a sign of deep respect for the Cadets, the US Naval Academy coaching staff attended Cadet Jackson's funeral with the entire West Point football team. For those who are unaware, Coach Ken Niumatalolo (Navy) and Coach Jeff Monken (Army) are close friends and coached together as assistants under Paul Johnson at Navy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with our brothers and sisters at @GoArmyWestPoint and the Jackson family. #OneTeam pic.twitter.com/rrbZ1owoIG

Both Army and Navy have started this season 3-0, a rarity in the modern era, and the rivals clash on Dec 10 in Baltimore. Bitter foes on the field, but brothers off the field to the bitter end.
Army's next game is against Buffalo on Sep 24 at UB Stadium in Buffalo, NY.
You'll likely never hear me say this again: Go Army! Beat Buffalo! #OneTeam
