There's a really good article posted over at land of 10 that talks about how Urban got his BGSU team ready for their first season under his leadership.  You should read the whole thing (it's short) but here's a blip:

“The workouts were totally over the top,” said Hillman. “When I see those kids now, the first thing I do is apologize. Urban wanted those kids in training to go through a task and a challenge that would supersede anything they would encounter on a football field. They were kids, so they were resilient and recovered. But we absolutely crushed them.”

It's amazing to me that Meyer knew the exact approach to turning BG into a winning program since this was his very first head coaching gig.  So glad he's a Buckeye now!
