Lloyd is having non-life threatening surgery that has a long recovery period. He was added to the committee last January and was looking forward to the process but he felt there was a possibility that he could not fulfill his duties. I know he was a UM coach but he was one of the good guys in college coaching and the only modern day coach that actually gave UM a NC. After losing the heart breaking fight for his grandchild's life last year, he turn his attention back to college football but it wasn't to be. I wish him well and hope he returns in some capacity once he recovers.
