The Golden Bear recently weighed in on one of the hot topics in college (FSU) football - the signing of autographs.

A sampling of his comments via SBNation (by way of the Palm Beach Post):

"I wonder how many autographs I have out there. Every game I go to I sign, probably 20 or 25 [people] and four or five each. Start adding that up. And he’s a lot more available than I am. He’s not the only kid with a couple thousand out there. A bunch of those kids have to have a couple thousand."

I just happened to come across this, buried away in a far corner of Yahoo Sports. Thinking this would be front page news if Nicklaus said this in Columbus, and/or in reference to any current Ohio State player (or maybe that's just me...)
