Spielman: 1987 1st Team All-Mustache

This may shock some of you, but nearly 85% of Eleven Warriors readers are men. You don't have to have a prostate to hang out here, but most of you generally bring one along for the ride.

Anyway, as October is the month of the pink ribbon, November is the month of the mustache. Movember is about wearing your support for men's health issues right beneath your handsome beak. You're changing the face of men's health. Get it? You get it.

The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising $650 million and funding over 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Think of your mustache as a pink ribbon you wear for a month, except that it's to raise awareness around cancers that affect men, most specifically prostate cancer.

Once again, there is an Eleven Warriors Movember team. You can join it here. Joining means 1) growing a mustache, or 2) donating money, or, 3) growing a mustache and donating money, or 4) not growing a mustache or donating money - but sharing the team link with your friends and encouraging them to do so. Even by doing that fourth option, you're still generating awareness, which means you're helping.

For you ladies, aka the best of us, you're welcome to participate in any of those four options listed above. We won't judge.
