150 years ago today William Tecumseh Sherman began his infamous March to the Sea. (In very real terms it helped end a war that cost 600,000 American lives) Sherman was a great Buckeye.
He promised he would 'make Georgia howl.' And he did. And ever since he and Grant took them behind the woodshed, the SEC has been trying to get that one back in anyway they can, unable to realize they can't. So on this anniversary of Sherman's leaving the SEC capital in ashes and taking the war to his enemy and marching to the Sea, let's hope Urban Meyer channels his inner Generals Sherman and Grant and begins the Buckeyes march to the title that ends in North Texas with Ohio once again victorious.
