According to published reports, Sam Foltz, a senior punter for the Nebraska football team, and Mike Sadler, a former Michigan State punter, were killed in a car crash overnight in Wisconsin.

Foltz is the reigning Big Ten Punter of the Year, and Sadler, a four-time Academic All-American while in East Lansing, was set to begin law school at Stanford this fall.

The two were there for a weekend punter's camp. The car, which Sadler was driving, lost control on wet pavement and struck a tree. The two were pronounced dead at the scene.

Nebraska has announced that they will no longer be attending Big Ten Media Days in Chicago tomorrow.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Nebraska and Michigan State football families.
