Tim Beckman's Illinois was bad. For some reason, Illinois continued to pay him millions of dollars to coach their football team. Then allegations of medical treatment misconduct arose, an independent investigation was born, and Tim Beckman was fired by the guy who hired him in August.
The man who fired Tim Beckman, AD Mike Thomas, was fired today. Illinois also released the full findings of its independent investigation, and Beckman was even worse than we'd thought (and we'd thought the worst):
