Michigan is bad at football, and because of such, a lot of people are getting asked about their ideas to fix it. Well, former Michigan linebacker Larry Foote was one of those asked, and, uh, he didn't mince any words.

From 24/7's Steve Lorenz:

"They better change up their recruiting. They better get some guys in there that can get some NFL talent," Foote said. "Like I said before, Michigan better go back to the 'hood. They got too many trust fund babies in there, and they look like that when they're playing. They got guys out there that are just happy, they're happy they're at Michigan, they're losing and smiling. And that's just not Michigan football. And that's gotta change."

Foote also commented on the prospects of the Wolverines landing current 49ers head coach and former Wolverine quarterback Jim Harbaugh as head coach. He believes it's not going to happen.

"No, no, no," Foote said. "When you have an NFL job, college will always be there. Just by his body of work and what he did already at Stanford, I don't see that happening.

I'm not privy to the amount of trust funds on Michigan's team, or if it really does need to "get back to the 'hood," but one thing is clear: whatever it's doing isn't working.
