There's a New Rivals Hoops 150
Rivals updated their basketball top 150 Thursday and Ohio State commit Keita Bates-Diop picked up a fifth star, checking in at No. 20 in their rankings. Jahill Okafor of Chicago Whitney Young is still holding down the top spot, with Emmanuel Mudiay of Prime Prep Academy in Dallas at No. 2 and Tyus Jones of Apple Valley, MN at No. 3.
Ohio State is still in on Okafor and Jones, among many others on the list.
Other future Buckeyes in the rankings:
- Jae'Sean Tate of Pickerington Central, who had 31 points and 21 rebounds in a 53-50 loss to Gahanna last night in a regional semifinal, is No. 73.
- Dave Bell of Garfield Heights is No. 103.

Signing days a month away (April 17). Put the press on Thad.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but signing day a month away would be for current high school seniors who did not sign this past fall. These 2014 prospects, who are juniors, cannot sign until the early signing period in November of 2013, and then again in the late signing period, April of 2014.

You are correct and I'm way off. Loving and Williams are already signed for the '13 class.

@Old Yep. We are talking 2014 class here. The 13 guys we have signed are Marc Loving (6'7 F out of Toledo St. John's, ranked a 94 on 247) and Kameron Williams (6'2 SG out of Baltimore ranked a 93 on 247).
Congrats KBD.
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
Nice!!
Good deal man, Buckeye basketball getting some good guys, now lets get Okafor and call it a wrap.
Sweet; with Thad at the helm it's almost getting like football; where we reload not rebuild.

Very cool for KBD, hope to see one or two more end up Buckeyes.

Please Okafor. Papa Sullinger coached one of his teams this past summer and I hear he's pretty tight with Jared.
He also went to high school with Sam Thompson for a year
I watched Tate play last night. The scoring looks nice, but I'm almost positive they were all lay ups from missed shots of his own or teammates. Gahanna did a good job of making him work really hard to get those points
Tate is going to be special.....he plays like glen robinson III for michigan as a junior in high school.........
