Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
Even with him it would be an upset. There were down double digits when Noel went out last time. I'm not convinced really, that UK would of won any of the games they lost since Noel went down if he were in the lineup. All 3 losses were on the road where they were shakey even when he was healthy.
Florida had very little to play for, they already locked up the SEC, and Kentucky needed the win just to keep up their NCAA tournament hopes going. Until this game they were a bubble team that just about all the analysts had on the outside looking in. I don't think its that big of an upset. You could have called this one in advance.
Kentucky still has work to do. That's the only very good win they have. They beat Mizzou but that wasn't really a great win either. They could turn around and lose in the first round of the SEC tournament.
Kentucky will play Vandy or Arkansas in what will basically be a home game in Nashville. And I know what you're thinking, "how will Kentucky have a home game in Vandy's home town?". I've been there. Nashville is overrun with Kentucky fans at SEC tourney time. I just don't see them losing that first game.
Too bad Lunardi now has Kentucky in his last four in. It would be great if they miss the tourney. Though, I'd also enjoy them getting ousted by a mid-major.

The Gators are such home-court babies.
Damn. Was hoping UK wouldn't make the tournament. I think a loss today would've sealed their fate.
not a big fan of either team
Is this really an upset?

In my mind yes, especially without Noel.

No, I don't like Kentucky but I love me a cryin' Gator. All Day.
It's good...to beat... a florida gator! It's good...to beat...a florida gator! Any day the Gaturds blow one, is a very good day indeed.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
