Before anyone asks, AIRBHG stands for Angry Iowa Running Back Hating God.

See Urban Dictionary definition:

1. AIRBHG
Acronym for Angry Iowa Running Back Hating God, the malevolent entity that continually smites the running backs of the University of Iowa football team.

Be it through academic ineligibility, arrest, suspension, transfers to other schools, repeated injuries (especially of the knee variety) or other causes, Iowa running backs suffer attrition worthy of a critically endangered species. AIRBHG tends to fell multiple running backs every year without cease, so Iowa can never replenish its backfield.

Wrong - it virtually guarantees he'll win, probably next season. If he goes 6-6 next year it will be viewed as such a dramatic turnaround that the coaches will (again) be awed by the awesome wonders of Ferentz as the consummate turnaround artist.

If they both go 6-6, the COY race will be a bigger deal in the conference media than the race for the actual conference title...

While I find all this AIRBHG stuff mildly amusing, personally, I like to file this sort of thing in the "This is about Iowa football, so who gives a hooping funt" folder.
