This is awesome, even if I'm not really sure where he'd immediately fit. Ryan Whalen is currently used the way Dane was with Cutler in Chicago, so we'll see what happens.

Yeah, there's a chance. Especially with the team playing for nothing but pride on Sunday. Marvin said the team is gonna try to keep the momentum going(not sitting starters), and Jay Gruden likes to experiment, so he might even see a handful of snaps on offense.

I like the Bengals but they are one of those teams like the Bears who have several receivers and none are a #1... I think he'll get lost among a log-jam of 2's and other 3's. Lion, Cowboys, Colts would be optimal for him.

I would definitely consider A.J. Green a very solid #1 reciever. He had something like 7 straight games with a td reception. Also he made the pro bowl as a rookie last year

AJ Green is one of the top 5 receivers in the league. And Brandon Marshall is having a pro bowl season. This comment is just silly.

Marshall and Green are exactly what people think of when you say "Number one receiver". Body style, physical abilities, etc. To say neither are number 1 is just totally foolish.

Love the move. The Bengals need a clear #2 behind Green, and though Andrew Hawkins has been the first option for the slot WR position, he's been rather inconsistent at times. Besides, I think Cincy's West Coast system has more room in it for recievers like Dane.

Damn. Hate the Bengals. I was hoping he'd get picked up by New England or maybe Denver, where his talents would be well used. Cincy could wind up being a dead-end career killer.

I wish only the best for him, but I think people need to be realistic about his prospects. He wasn't drafted and has barely played in two years. His chances of having a significant career going forward are pretty small.

He's just not an NFL caliber receiver. He had a dropsie problem with the Bears and that cost him whatever trust the coaches and Cutler had in him. I don't think he's long for the NFL.

There are MAYBE two receivers in the NFL for whom I'd trade AJ Green: Megatron and Larry Fitzgearld. Green is scary good, and if he isn't a "number 1" then I don't know who is.
