I don't think there needs to be a hybrid role. I think people are falling into the trap of looking at what Florida ran and thinking we have to fill all the same roles. Urban is way more flexible than that, and this offense is a mix of his and others. It isn't Florida.
Could be wrong, but I've never thought there really WILL be a "Percy Harvin" role in this offense.
Dunn has good hands out of the backfield. Mixing his ability to run and catch with Stoney's versatility, Boren's blocking and power running, Miller's versatility, and good play calling is a better offense than trying to jam someone into the role of "Percy Harvin" when there is no Percy on this team.
Hyde is probably a better back right now, but Dunn brings some useful things to the table that Hyde doesn't.
Percy Harvin or not, the spread demands a slot player with capabilities. I don't think everyone meant a role to mirror Harvin, but it's hard to spread the field in a pro-style formation

Didn't know he was hurt.
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
apparently cut his foot, ripped a tendon...
Here's to a speedy, full recovery and an angry rehab process.
I think this is huge for Dunn. He's more versatile than Hyde or Smith.
Dunn can't play the hybrid role though. It's gonna have to be Fields or Corey Brown.
It needs to be Brown...I still think this is the perfect role for him...He is defintely not a split end wr like we have tried using him in the past...
