Keep it all in the family.... Her fiances is the Director of Swimming and Diving Operations at Arkansas. Given that she is engaged, and both she and her beau are working for the University I seriously doubt there is much to this story. Then, again, I could be wrong.
This is either an extremely naive post, or the most trollingest post of all time. I'm guessing the former, but so hoping for the latter.
Matt - I really did not intend it to be either. All we know is that Patrino gave this lady a ride on the back of his motorcycle. She is a co-worker. Her beau works for the same institution. Hence the family remark. To make any other inferences about the nature of the relationship between Patrino and this lady is simply assumption.
I went to lunch with a lady co-worker yesterday. Both my wife and her husband knew we went to lunch. We are all involved in the same business. They are family friends. There is nothing going on between us other than friendship. It is possible that this is what is happening with Patrino. I don't know. But, for me or anyone else to draw conclusions simply because they were in an accident on a motorcycle is kind of ridiculous. And, for anyone to go onto the poor couples wedding page and post rubbish is not only mean, it's stupid. And, in some states it is illegal.
For what it is worth, I am not a Petrino fan. I do not wish him well, but I certainly don't wish him or his family or his friends the scrutiny that is going to come about because of this. Even if there is more to this, the national stats are that over 70% of all married men and over 50% of all married women have extramarital affairs in their lifetime. When society attacks someone over something like this it is kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. If they screwed up, fine - let them move on with their lives. They certainly don't need any of us piling on, their lives will be hellish enough without that.
In case you hadn't noticed I am really not a fan of bashing anyone on social networks.

Conclusions are not being drawn simply because they were in an accident; conclusions are being drawn because there was a cover up- either at an institutional level or by Petrino, indvidually.

That is hysterical. Love how some of the "commenters" include Pitino, Sandusky, Tressel, Santorum, Madden, O.J. Simpson, Mitch Mustain, Izzo, Trey Burke, bin Laden and John Edwards. Just too funny.
Well that would be one of the worst things i've seen for some time. Regardless of there being anything going on or not, people posting those comments to a personal/family oriented announcement is pretty much disgusting.

When I first heard about the story, before the young lady was known about, I KNEW something was up. What was my clue? When the statement was released saying he was ok and that the family was "asking for privacy". You only "ask for privacy" if there is something else going on that you don't want people digging into. Just ask Tiger Woods.
