G.O. and co. were a large reason for the resurgence of TOSU hoops.

Hope he finds his way back to the court one day.

Not only do I feel bad for Oden but the Blazers organization. Talk about bad luck with injuries: Oden-various leg injuries, Roy-degenerative knees, Sam Bowie-leg inguries, Bill Walton- foot injuries, and now Aldridge with a heart ailment. This franchise can't catch a break (or too many breaks). Terrible news for Greg.

Are NBA contracts like MLB?  Does he get paid his 8.9 mil that he just signed for the other day?  If so, and I don't mean this to make light of his situation, but did is quite lucky if so.  Obviously, he'd rather be playing and healthy, but the Blazers have definitely caught bad luck.  Unfortunatley, with Oden the writing was kind of on the wall, he seemed to be banged up quite a bit in his one year at Ohio State too.  Sucks for him because he seems to be a hell of a nice guy.

From what i've read, there is some really weird situation were he didn't actually sign that, but there was a lower contract, and his injury isn't a leg injury...a lot of mystery going on.
