Love it. Go Bucks
There is so much going on in this poster... awesome!
Although the fire-breath and the stomping of Memorial Stadium are hilarious, I like the subtle touch of the scores of the last several years on it's back.
The question, then, is it a giant wooden turtle? Or can we pretend it's a live one for the sake of ancient tradition?
Brutus doesn't waste time taming inanimate objects.
So you're saying Brutus isn't powerful enough to make a giant inanimate object move and breathe fire? Pfffft
Brutus tells Chuck Norris to do it for him, while he rides.
The decision to have flames (?) shooting out of Illibuck is rather inspired.
I was worried until I saw the rose petals inbetween the "oh" and "io" on the flag.

I thought the same thing! This has become my weekly 'Where's Waldo' (Where's da Roses?) hunt, I must say i was struggling until I saw your comment.
Well done, Walt. Well done...
He-Manesque, if you will. Solid placement of the Illini stadium.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
In the middle of nowhere or under the Brutus guided front foot of the Illibuck?
I never make the mistake of arguing with people for whose opinions I have no respect.

AS a giant monster fan, this is the best poster ever.
From the moment I saw this my thought was the movie Iron Giant. Very sentinel-esque. Well done sir.
If the Illibuck actually could breath fire THAT would be a trophy worth winning. Who wouldn't want a pyro-mechanical turtle monster on their sidelines?

“Don’t fear criticism. The stands are full of critics. They play no ball. They fight no fights. They make no mistakes because they attempt nothing. Down on the field are the doers, they make mistakes because they attempt many things.”

Instant classic, love the old 50's B movie horror/sci-fi appeal.

Walt, great job as always! Just wanted to point out Holly Anderson of Grantland.com gave you a shout out for this awesome poster!
Walt - am I wrong or is this the first one this year without a rose in it???
edit: nevermind - I found them!
