Les Miles for King of America.
Ok....thanks for pointing out the obvious for us Les.
Some people think we’re the hunted.I don’t feel that way at all. We’re the hunter.Everybody wants an angry football team.Everybody wants a team on edge and a hungry team.If you’re a hunter, that usually equates to being hungry.
Where does he come up with this stuff? Pure comedy gold. Too bad he isn't coaching TTUN - I can only begin to imagine the joys of trolling his pressers each week.
I'm starting to wonder if Les is doing more with grass than just EATING it.
The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off.
At least you didn't post the one of Les having sex with it. That would have been gross too funny.
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Greatest Civil War analogy EVER.
Just going to say I know there's the perfect LSUFreek gif for that.
We all knew Les likes some good green, but who would have pegged him as a comedian?
And when we win the game, we'll buy a keg of boooooooooze!! And we'll drink to old Ohio 'till we wobble in our shoes.
As history teacher Les Miles is a great football coach.
God, I wish he was coaching at Michigan so much.
He's a moron but he's a good football coach. He's much better than Hoke.
No, the talent he gets covers up how poor of a coach he is.
The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender. - Woody Hayes
He's won a national title and played for another... and he's a "poor coach"? Interesting.
Californian by birth, Marionaire by the Grace of President Warren G. Harding.
Here is the list of coaches that have won BCS titles:
Pete Carroll (vacated)
It isn't a very long list.
Gene Chizik really coached up his team.
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. ~ Bruce Lee
I take it you don't watch LSU football very much.
I agree mostly with you Seabass. He won a national title in a weird year where a 2 loss team went to the NCG.
He makes more questionable calls than almost any other big time coach, but it works for him mostly. His players do love him, and he can recruit with the best of them. That is honestly 70% of the battle.
Oh, and he hires great coordinators
I watch a lot of LSU football, as they're my "SEC team" or whatever and I like how they play. I'm not going to debate this any more, but it's comical you think Les Miles is a "poor coach." His win percentage, especially in the SEC is ridiculous. If he's poor, then that makes 98% of coaches in FBS piss-poor, and basically Urban Meyer and Nick Saban as the only ones who aren't.
Like I said before. The talent covers up his poor coaching ability. Let's take a look at Les Miles, Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. The most interesting thing about these three coaches is two of them were pretty average before arriving in the SEC which we all know is pretty lax on the rules and everyone seems to always look the other way when they do catch them. Do you know which two? It's easy to win and look like a great coach when you are allowed to bring in top tier talent by any means necessary.
Uhm, isn't recruiting part of being an FBS coach? You're acting as if the talent at LSU just rains down from the sky, magically.
Nothing says you can't be a good recruiter and a bad coach. They aren't wholly inseparable.
and played for another
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
So...he fixes the cable?
Wish I could give you extra upvotes for the Dude...and the Carl Hungus reference

Notice the grace he uses when mixing that White Russian. Priceless.

I still like your new avatar, Bucksfan!
Was he being serious? No, really, was he being serious?
That was just awkward to watch....
Good point about St. Partrick's Day though.
Think about Miles and then remember that Coach Hayes taught history....
Kind of like a Will Ferrell bit.
Can't wait to hear his paean to MLK Day.
Ah, the value of an AACC education. Priceless.....

what the ---?
I think the honey badger sent Les some baked goods...
After watching this and the Hatter's nail and hammer rant, I think his doc might need to adjust his meds. That said, he is the real deal as a coach and recruiter.
