Tears so yummy and sweet

Connor Shaw and South Carolina went into Fayetteville and laid a 52-7 beating on Arkansas' doorstep.

And then Steve Spurrier said this:

I know it's popular to hate on The Old Ball Coach, but I love Steve Spurrier :)

I love the OBC because he says whatever is on his mind and doesn't crawl back with a PC apology afterwards.

I'm cool with Spurrier as long as he doesn't take his shirt off.

Nice to see Bert getting it done at Arkansas.  He continues to lose big games there too.

He doesn't have Barry Alvarez around to build him a program and advise him. He's getting exposed as the fraud he is.

gotta love that karma - what do you say there, Jen?

Love the dude to the left of the frame with the blue and yellow wind breaker and hat. He can't laugh hard enough at ol Bert...

Well done. Excellent, in fact.

Bet you can't say "Bert Bielma is a bumbling buffoon" five times fast.

Just...awesome.

Pig Sooooooeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Good on ya Bert!

Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.

Earlier in the week, Bielema stated he was looking forward to coaching against Spurrier. I wonder if he still feels the same now. Couldn't happen to a better guy!

I have always liked Spurrier too.  Yeah he is cocky but he has always been above board and a winner.  He won at Duke, DUKE! for goodness sakes; and when he went to Florida they were a weak sister in the SEC.  And South Carolina is a tough place to win.  He gets results.  And he speaks his mind.  Without pulling punches.  I like that.  I loved his remarks that "you can't spell Citrus Bowl without UT".

I think a lot of people forget that S. Carolina was crap for a long time before Spurrier went there. Perennial losers, they were.

Poor, poor Bert. Just when he thought he was in hog heaven, WHAM!  Karma.

Color me amazed that Arkansas scheduled a conference SEC game for their homecoming.
