I've heard of this guy.

I'm still kind of shocked that Eli Apple hasn't lost his, especially since he enrolled in the Spring.  Wonder what is going on with him....

Squirrel Master's picture

I'm surprised too. I assume Doran Grant is his big brother and Grant is being tough on him. I still say Apple will end up starting at some point this season. Unfortunately it could be due to suspension of someone or injury. I do hope that Roby and Doran start every game together though outside of the first.

I saw a UFO once.......it told me to have a goodyear!

I'm surprised Trey Johnson has not lost his yet.

I believe Trey has been dinged up most of camp.

Congrats to Vonn Bell.  Somehow I bet Bruce Pearl and his band of douches blames Aaron Craft for this!!

I wonder if Aaron Craft's cheeks get white when he's embarrassed.

Who down voted this?  (unless it's an old joke at this point and in which case, good for you.)

gwright78's picture

I made a joke about recruiting diehards being "creepy middle aged men" in the amazing Damien Prince's Socks thread, and someone didn't like it and went on a downvote spree on all my comments. Actually, looks like a couple dozen people didn't think it was very funny. Shame on me!

It happens here, which is BS.  +1, like a make up call.

Excited about this player. I never really paid attention to recruiting, but these past 2 years since going to this site has sparked my interest.  Really look forward watching these young men grow into their roles.

Trey has has a concussion, slowing his progress. Congratulations to Vonn. Is it me, or are the stripes coming off a little bit quicker this year than last year?? Good for us either way.

is he not wearing #6?

Alpo's picture

No apparently there was a typo in the roster. He will be wearing his #7 which I'm glad to see

Sounds like he may get some playing time in the "Star" position. I remember watching his announcement and being so excited that he chose OSU. He appears to be a classy individual with a strong work ethic. I can't wait to see him pop somebody good!

Vonn done did it! Vonn is on.
Can somebody embed some tweets from his brother? I grew to enjoy that dude during the recruitment of VB.

This young man has the potential to be very special.  Very special.

In old Ohio there's a team that's known throughout the land...

You know, Gus fring's character from breaking bad reminds me of this guy. Same type of deliberate, meticulous demeanor. Anybody else see the parallel?

"Get him a body bag, Yeah!"

DJRoss926's picture

Gus Fring reminds you of Brother Mouzone or Vonn Bell? The NCAA frowns upon running a chain of restaurants as a front for a meth epire, I think.

cinserious's picture

Sorry, I meant Brother Mouzone.

You mean Vonn Miller?
Have a feeling we might see this guy on the field a couple of times..

Aside from being a great football player, I also like the guy personally. Seems like a well-rounded kid who has his head on straight.

And he seems to always be smiling in interviews, like he is the happiest person in the world just being at Ohio State.

I am assuming that Aaron Mawhirter is a walk on. Funny two walk-ons in the first ten, getting their stripes removed before several highly touted full ride recruits.
Good for them.

This kid has the ability to be a more well rounded Mike Doss! Von is going to make a himself a house hold name by week 4.

Is there any video of Tennessee fan reactions to Von losing his black stripe?  I wouldn't mind seeing those again.
