Announcing the 11W Bracket Contest '13
It's a wide-open field, but that doesn't mean your bracket is necessarily flammable. For you, knowledgeable sports fan, understand that Ohio State will win every game in this tournament by 50-point margins.
Okay, maybe not. But you're an Eleven Warriors reader, so you know more about college basketball than the average fan and your bracket will reflect that.
As we do every year, we're holding a contest to determine which one of you brainiacs has the best bracket. We'll be giving away the signed Jared Sullinger ball you see above to the winner. So get in, and make your picks count.

Just entered my bracket. That basketball would look bad ass on my desk in my office...

Lots of chalk in my bracket. not a lot of interesting matchups.
All things considered, this is one of the toughest brackets to fill out in recent memory (not that my past performances haven't screamed "MAN, THIS IS EASY!").
I got the Bucks winning the 'ship vs Indiana, lulz.
that is my first bracket just based on a whim as well. OSU > Louisville and IU > G'Town in Final Four.

I decided to make an "All Big Ten" bracket just for kicks. There's a sprinkling of random upset picks, but whenever a B1G school is playing a non-B1G school, you can guess who I picked.
7 out of the elite 8 from the B-1-G... because why not? And this pool doesn't cost money. :)
I almost had an all BIG final four...but just couldn't pick TSUN. So, I have Ohio State, Michigan State, Indiana, and Kansas, with the Bucks over IU in the final.
Is a College Basketball Invitational pool in the works this year? I think I can go all the way!

I try to predict upsets to distance myself, just in case. In other words, my bracket usually sucks.
Indiana, UM, MSU, and OSU in final 4, UM v OSU with OSU the victor. How is that for homerizm?

Show me this post a month and a half ago and I'd laugh ... now I'm pretty confident after how Matta has gotten this team to perform the last month.
Also say the Final Four is all B1G teams ... all those "experts" will still argue that the B1G isn't the best conference in all of basketball. Heaven forbid the B1G is deemed good at something.

What's the scoring format? Conventional (should I just take top-seeds through?) or custom (should I get creative?)?
I know you guys do ESPN for the group size, but Yahoo!'s custom scoring is very cool.
I think it's pretty conventional. X points per winner picked. X multiplies as the rounds progress.

Strange. I don't think there's a limit on the group size and as it stands there are 563 members in the group, which would be a rather arbitrary size limit.
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
It just let me sign up, so I'm not sure why others are having issues.
