Fans who followed recruiting under Jim Tressel are used to relatively quiet National Signing Days, but it is clear in year two of the Urban Meyer Era that things have certainly changed on the biggest recruiting day of the year for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Meyer has capped off his second consecutive top five ranked class – with some services even tabbing it as the nation's best – as he witnessed an outstanding group of 24 of the country's top high school prospects send in their national letters of intent to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center today.

The biggest story of the cycle was the big finish the staff pulled off.

OSU landed super athlete Dontre Wilson on Monday night and followed that up by snagging both wide receiver James Clark and safety Vonn Bell today. They also reaffirmed the commitments of linebacker Trey Johnson, lineman Donovan Munger, and running back Ezekiel Elliott after the three were rumored to be looking around.

Ohio State is still waiting to hear from punter Johnny Townsend, who committed to Ohio State last June, but was rumored to be contemplating a flip to Alabama.

The only loss of the day came from Taivon Jacobs, who flipped from the Buckeyes to Maryland at the last minute, but overall this is a phenomenal recruiting haul that may go down as one of the best in program history.

Meet your new Buckeyes after the jump.
