But technically, I thought the BCS NC is called a "one-game playoff."

Actually if you ask any SEC fan, they'll tell you that the SEC Championship game is really the National championship game and decides who gets to go on and play in the exhibition game before hoisting the trophy! :/ ... I really hope Urban and the Buckeyes can put an end to this non-sense this year! I live in Georgia and have to listen to this crap non-stop! Go Bucks... O-H...

yeah, its the 2014 season when the 'playoff system' starts. next year (2013) is the final BCS type season.

i feel like the debacle is the desert has somehow been exorcized by this... it the dawn of a new era ;) and Urban saw up close and personal what he's up against, so let's hope he puts some energy into that new re-tooled DL we're going to need for next year...

Living in Seattle, I speak to fans from a lot of other teams.

So far the only ones who don't respect Urban Meyer are bitter Florida fans. Lol.

We may or may not go undefeated, but I'm 100.1 % sure that we will be sending a message to the college football world this year.

The Buckeyes are back, stronger than ever. You cannot change this. Deal with it.

i hope tosu didnt just lose vonn bell with that performance from bama... old beetface had nothing for saban... i just hope urbs has enough of his horses here to run with saban when he meets him, for i truly believe urbs is a better coach. im just worried we wont have the horses to run the race

Florida got embarrassed by Louisville this year, and as much as I'd love to rub it in my future in-laws face that the Buckeyes beat Florida, I would much rather beat Alabama. To be the best, you have to beat the best! And no matter how much the rest of the SEC tries to ride on the coattails of Alabama, they are the ones to beat!

*Alabama - VT, Georgia State, Chattanooga, Colorado State

*Florida - Toledo, Miami (florida), Gerogia Southern, FSU

*Georgia - Clemson, N. Texas, Appalachian State, GT

*LSU - TCU, UAB, Kent State, Furman

*T A&M - Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU, UTEP

*S. Carolina - North Carolina, UCF, Coastal Carolina, Clemson

Florida, Georgia, and S. Carolina might can lay claim to having a slightly tougher OOC schedule but really, year in and year out, how is this any tougher than the Buckeye's OOC schedule?? Especially for Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M!!!

This bowl-banned Buckeye team reminded me of a rabid, barking dog chained to a pole. Terrifying from a distance but never a serious threat to do any real harm.

With the ban now lifted, the chain has snapped.

I'm going to enjoy watching OSU throttle everyone. The rest of the country relished the fact we werent in a bowl game. I'm going to relish watching OSU become their overlords once again.
