both offenses are fast. Watching the OL vs Dline when Oregon has the ball, it amazes me that noone is hitting the turf. These guys stand up, push each other and hand fight for position.
It takes strong defensive lines like Boise St, LSU, OSU and Auburn has had, that are willing to make pile ups at the line of scrimmage, clogging Oregon's spacing, to control that offense. Watching Oregon's offense reminds me more of basketball, than football. They are good, no doubt, but would someone on ASU please make a pile up?
edit: I guess what I'm getting at, if your defense isn't going to give it 100%, get dirty, fly around, dive and strive, you'll look stupid against Oregon.
edit again: the only time anyone hits the turf is if someone gets "tackled". 2 out of 22 players fall down, just not what I'm used to seeing. Even on goaline plays.

I'm hoping this a glimpse into our future. If we get the defense up and humping. There is no reason we can't be curb stomping teams midway threw the second quarter

Could these guys drool over the Ducks anymore than they already have. Granted the Ducks look good, but for cryin out loud show some pprofessionalism I would like to see Oregon and Alabama play for the MNC. At least it would be an entertaining game.

I had a response, but it was quite inappropriate.
WTF on the 49ers/Seahawks. Had San Fran -7. I'll take the push. But, with under a minute left in the game - Harbaugh DECLINES a penalty on Seattle, in their own end zone, which resulted in a safety. He wanted to challenge the spot so it was a turnover on downs. But, what's the point? You're getting the ball back anyways from a free kick, with 2 more points & with a 2-possession lead. It was almost like he didn't want to win by more than 7. So instead of a 15-6 win, it's 13-6.

I was pretty upset that he chose to decline it too. I'm playing against a buddy of mine in FFB that started the Seahawks defense and am willing to get every point I can. #smh

Not that ASU can really threaten Oregon, but they just scored a couple of really quick TD's. Shades of the IU game are here.

Right after I posted. The game is done.
I had nightmares for a moment. Granted, Oregon was up much more, so it wasn't like the game was all of a sudden in jeopardy. But still, more than ever, you have to play for 60 minutes. For a team trying to prove that they should be #2 instead of #3 in the BCS standings, this kind of stuff does not help your case.
I don't know how much this hurts them in that regard, plus Bama and UF will have to meet if they both end up 12-0 anyway. As long as Oregon can stay unbeaten and in that top 3, they'll be fine.

The game was over before the clock hit 11:30 in the 2nd quarter. The game was never in question after that. I mean they scored 43 points in 18 minutes. Scary to think how many points they could've put up if they had tried for all 60mins

Hopefully we get to play Oregon prior to Braxton leaving (Rose Bowl) and he can show them why they should use that sign ... speed.
