The Eleven Warriors ballot has been submitted and once again, there was plenty of movement across the board, including the Buckeyes dropping one spot after they eked out a win over Indiana, 52-49.
Once again, you can also check out our ballot, as well as all of the others, on the BlogPoll site while also following on Twitter at @BlogPollTop25.

USC is getting it done and got it done against Washington, winning 24-14. Nothing spectacular, but the Trojans keep the ball moving. | -- |

FSU trucked BC, 51-7, and look to start rolling again against in-state rival Miami. We'll see what EJ Manuel and crew can do. | -- |

Georgia has the week off and now they get Kentucky before going to Jacksonville for the "Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" against #3 Florida, which is a huge game on the horizon for the SEC. |

Clemson was idle. They welcome VT this Saturday. |

Miss State took down Tennessee to stay undefeated. They continue their patsy schedule this Saturday against Middle Tennessee State before finally playing a decent team. Oh yeah, that decent team is #1 Alabama. |

Well, the Mountaineers got exposed on D by Texas Tech and got blown out. Geno Smith's Heisman numbers took a hit (moving Braxton into the spotlight). |

Louisville started slow but ended up taking down Pittsburgh, 45-35. The Cards welcome USF this weekend. |

Cincy played Fordham and had no trouble. They play Toledo before moving into the heart of the Big East schedule the following week. |

Rutgers struggled a bit with Syracuse, but pulled it out. Their defense is their ticket to their first Big East championship and a BCS birth, if they can score some points on the other side of the ball. |

Tech owned West Virginia, 49-14, moving them into most people's top-25. | -- |

Stanford may have got hosed against ND, making the trip back to Cali a rather long and unfortunate one. A short trip down to Cal should cure the Cardinal blues. |

Michigan takes care of business against lesser Big Ten teams. Enough said. They beat Illinois, 45-0. | -- |

In a late night gun show, LA Tech stormed back and nearly tied the game in the last few seconds, missing out on a two-point conversion to seal the deal for A & M. |

OU, Oh Yeah! Ohio is undefeated and raging towards a MAC championship. |

Boise State keeps on quietly winning, beating Fresno State, 20-10. Nothing crazy, but they're getting it done. |

No one loves the buckeyes more than I do but I have a very hard time saying the team I saw Saturday night is a top 10 team. I'm not sure how confident (how much would I bet) I would be if OSU had to play any of the teams from 10-15.

AGREED! I'm personally glad we're not going to a bowl game bc if OSU was...they'd get embarrassed with the type of defense we've seen this year.

I actually disagree with you. I am extrapolating that you think that they played very poorly against indiana, and on that, I agree.
but, this team seems to be playing to their competition. I'm not a huge colin cowherd fan, but i think he nailed it with this comparison (not sure if it was in relation to osu or not, it was just a non-contextual quote): "on a date with a pretty girl, you always try harder than when you're on a date with a less-pretty girl."
nerbaska and michigan state are two teams that I think are very good, and are probably top 20 teams. I wouldnt want to go up against bama, but i do think we could beat the florida states and rutgers of the world.
Bring on Bama too...
Their offensive strength is our defensive strength (assuming we are healthy)...
and i believe we can score 28+ on any defense in the nation... including the SEC's best: Bama, LSU, Florida, South Carolina, etc...
Something about the Florida jump to third (and second in BCS!?) after a win over lowly Vandy really rankles me. Is there some unwritten rule that we must have two SEC teams in top 5?
I suppose it's just a default move up after WV and SC losses, but I'd love to see ND or K-State ahead of Florida. And Oregon definitely deserves its spot above the Gators.
Yes...I'm a bitter buckeye living in SEC territory.
If a win against Vandy means so much, shouldn't Northwestern still be in the top 25?
We are a top ten team until we lose. The national championship team in 02 proved that. Given how many close calls they had, it would be hard to argue that they were one of the top two teams, but they still beat the team everyone considered the best. We have some tough games coming up and if we win those we will be in the top 5, but if we don't we'll fall. I think we are in the right spot until we lose.
Exactly. Well said.
Lets be real for a second, if the last 1:40 of that game hadnt happened would we not be at #6? Cuz yanno LSU did about lose to towson, and has ACTUALLY LOST... and Notre Dame was handed a win too....
...seems very knee-jerky to me
LSU wasn't up 45-27 on Towson either...this team needs to get much better on defense or this team will be like WVU or Oregon pre 2012. Do you really want a team that has to score 50 or more to win??? Really people??? Bc that's what will happen...I personally like the defenses we had that "were" always ranked in the top ten.

I'm glad someone's being honest...this was the worst performance by an OSU defense in sometime (Thanks David btw). I can't see how so many here at 11w (fans btw not staff) can defend a team or it's coaches (no matter what the injuries are) when there's 13:53 left on the clock in the 4th quarter and that team they're playing who has 2 wins can score 22 points in that time. Pathetic is the only word I can come up with (besides these words, Can you say pumping gas at Citgo if that happens again?). The fans who keep defending all this truth with BS that OSU's 7-0 need to stop. We're lucky as hell to be 7-0...this defense couldn't shut out Savannah State!

I gotta think that the players that remain on the OSU D far outrank the D players for Indiana yet they both allowed almost the same number of points. Can someone more informed and with better resources take a look at that? If OSU had far greater talent on the field, and the experience level was not too drastically different, you have to think the difference was coaching. Just my .02.

KLFECK: I actually took time to re-watch the game late Saturday night. I used to coach until I had my last child and stopped to spend more time with all my five kids (I coached HS for ten years). The players for OSU's defense aren't being put in the right positions (based on watching the whole game but especially the 4th quarter). The DB's were in Cover 3 or Cover 2 most of the game (hence why they got exposed to screens and short dink and dunk passes). The plays for long yardage on runs and short passes happened because OSU has only one starting LB playing (and as much as we'd like to think Boren was great bc of leading the D with 8 tackles, but he was out of position a lot due to lack of experience). These are both players and coaching problems right now. Many fans here will try to persuade you away from that but even your child at OSU can tell you this is not a good defense right now. Personally I think it's inevitable that OSU will lose a game this year. It's just a matter of when our offense has a bad game like WVU did this weekend against Texas Tech (bc you KNOW our defense can't bail us out like they used to). MSU was the only game besides Miami OH were the Defense showed up for 4 quarters.
