Donate to the Stefanie Spielman Fund

If you're already signed up for Eat Too, Brutus: Thank you very much - we're looking forward to tailgating with (so far, a lot of you) next month. If you haven't already signed up for Eat Too, Brutus: This is for you. Please read further - it won't take long.

What was originally designed to be our annual thank-you to 11W readers has quickly evolved into a higher and more elaborate calling. On October 29 prior to the Wisconsin game, our annual tailgate is being held to raise money for the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at Ohio State's Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

Maybe you're already planning on going to the Wisconsin game, but maybe you're not. That's really not the point.

The point is that whether you're going to be on campus to join the 11W crew in enjoying Eat Too, Brutus presented by City Barbeque, or if you're going to be anywhere else in the world that day - you can still help us help The James fight cancer.

All you have to do is buy a t-shirt. There are four prices/donation tiers: Joe Bauserman ($14) Chris Spielman ($36) Archie Griffin ($45) or Luke Fickell/Stefanie's Heroes ($99). The perks vary with each tier, but all have one thing in common: Cancer research wins with every shirt sold.

Stefanie was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 31 years old. She could have fought the disease quietly, but she did not. She battled it loudly, aggressively and courageously. Over $9.1 million has been raised by the Stefanie Spielman fund since her initial diagnosis. She succumbed to the disease in 2009, but the battle she started in 1999 has not relented, and Eleven Warriors is very committed to continuing her fight.  We're also committed to being very loud about it.

So whether you're going to the Wisconsin game or not, if you haven't already bought an Eat Too, Brutus t-shirt, please do so now.

We're giving you two great options here: Fighting cancer and reaping the fun football perks and prizes of your choosing, or just fighting cancer. Please choose one or both, but not neither.

Please share this page with your friends, your family, your friends at work and your enemies everywhere. Thanks for your continued support.
