Basketball Buckeyes Outlast Hawkeyes

The basketball Buckeyes erased a 45-42 deficit nearly six minutes into the 2nd half with a 16-0 run capped by back to back triples from Jon Diebler to take a 58-45 lead before fending off a late Iowa charge to prevail 73-68 tonight in sparsely populated Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Aaron Craft hit two clutch free throws putting OSU up 73-68 with :16 left and stole the ball on the ensuing possession to seal the deal. Jared Sullinger went off like the mob with 24 points and 12 boards with Diebler adding 14 and Lighty 12. We now return you to your reguarly scheduled Sugar Bowl programming.

I feel for the BasketBucks knowing that probably only 2 people in C-bus watched their game last night.

Does anyone know why Buford only played 20 minutes?  Are his back problems acting up again?
