Pretty thankful it isn't our heads superimposed on a baby or something. Merry Chrismakkuh to all. Here's a little digital stocking stuffer for y'all: http://11w.rs/hetfli.
Thanks. Time to think about the rest of our guys and what effect this has had on them. If you have two kids and one breaks curfew, you can't ground the other one. We have to let them know we still support them.
Is it in Ohio State' best interest to play suspended players in the Sugar Bowl ? Aside from the possible reduction of one game off the suspension from five ot four; what is the real reason the NCAA is allowing these players to play in the Bowl game ? If it's only dollars and ratings, why shill for the BCS/NCAA, while at the same time you can make a statement and sit the players. If you feel the players are going to the NFL anyway, we don't owe them a final audition. We are still a great team that is loaded on both offense & defense. It almost becomes a win-win situation for OSU, if you lose your best players are sitting, if you win, you show the country & the SEC, there more to OSU than 5 players.
Why should these players sit AT ALL for 5 games next year for selling their own personal belongings? Is this still America? Are we still a free country?
If it is "against the NCAA rules" to sell one's own personal property, then maybe they ought to look into changing the rules, because IMO, that is anti-American.
I can understand why they have laws/rules to "not marry your sibling" in Arkansas, but this makes no sense to me.

The thing is, it would just open the doors for boosters to buy used napkins for players for $200k or other things. We need to preserve the system where the parents shop the kids around "without their knowledge" to protect amateur athletics.
Don't know if anyone else has seen this but there are reports that Tressel is done at Ohio State after the Sugar Bowl. I personally don't believe it but here is the link

Touched on it briefly in the forum:

It's garbage.
The classic garbage internet-rumor scenario.
Unnamed sources? Check.
Low-profile blogger publication? Check.
Explicit denial by the athletic director? Check.
Hedging, "if-I'm-wrong-I'll-say-so" reply by the blogger? Check.
Welcome to our world, Buckeyes.
So are you saying you think the fire RichRod rumors are false, M Man?
