nitpicking, but the coaches voted Boom first team.

Congrats Guys!

OT but touchdown Troy just took advantage of a Beanie mistake. Feel bad for Beanie - Jaws trashed him.....

Poe McKnoe's picture

And Beanie just hauled in a 43 yard bomb. WTF? Awesome.

Colin's picture

sure, they won't let him run the ball tho

he's getting brandon saine'd

I expect more Beanie later.  Wisenhunt loves him some Hightower.  That catch was Beanie's redemption.

Wells has absolutely no offensive line in Arizona. CJ and AP would struggle to get yards behind that bunch.

That was worlds of awesome!

Troy is on fire right now...

TP being a bit whiny about the All B10 teams on twitter.

BuckeyeChief's picture

No offense but Persa over Pryor? Didn't he miss the last 2 games? What was their record? Seems weird, but Shoestring was the Offensive player of the year but not first or second qb? I don't agree with the list...

"Damn I miss El Guapo"

blazers34's picture

well, shoestring is basically a scat back anyway

Colin's picture

At least he didn't call anyone out...

and this just solidifies the reasons he needs to stay for another year, he isn't the best QB in a conference full of pretty average QB's

BuckeyeChief's picture

I'm being lazy but he trailed Persa by 30 passing yds, had 10 more passing td's...

BuckeyeChief's picture

250 more passing yds and 9 more td's than Tolzien...so it isn't stats, isn't the record, what is it?

The 11 ints probably hurt the worst.

Also, mediocre quarterbacks? The big ten have five of the top 20 most efficient passers in the country. Sounds pretty solid to me.

blazers34's picture

yep.  didnt realize it until i looked at those awards, but the conference was pretty damn stacked this year.  should be a lot of good pros

Colin's picture

Well ok I'll admit I'm wrong for saying mediocre, but when most people think of good quarterbacks you think of big names like Moore or Luck, guys that make big plays and win games. I know when I think of a quarterback I don't immediately think oooh he's efficient. I guess I was just somewhat blinded by overall records.

The Big Ten doesn't have a lot of big names except for Pryor, who, though his stats may say otherwise, I'm guessing just doesn't pass the eye test as a great quarterback because of his inconsistancy. That's the only reason I could think of why he didn't win it.

Dislike the entire Big10 award system....how in the holy f has Tress not been coach of the year?!? Buckeyes don't make the all Big10 team but make it to BCS Games? There is an issue with the system.

Max's picture

Its criminal that Tress hasn't won yet. Hard to argue w Dantonio but there's something to be said for consistency over one year wonders...

Dayummmm nice pass Troy!

Holy christ Troy looks good throwing the ball.

Gruden loves pointing out how many buckeyes are playing in this game. REPRESENT

As anybody who is a former Blue Streak should.

This is a little confusing to me.  Robinson is selected by coaches as O-player of the year, yet he is only honorable mention, which means there were at least 2 QB's better than him.

tomcollins's picture

Robinson probably got injured after accepting his OPOY award and they had to use Forcier for the QB award.

Buckeye_Mafia's picture

I was really shocked that Persa got it over Pryor, Robinson, and Stanzi. I guess if I saw the criteria, I would understand maybe.

Adolphus Washington is half grizzly bear and half dragon | Noah Spence kills quarterbacks, just to watch them die.

KINGOFDAMIDDIE's picture

Press isn't that good and I predict he would have more Int than td against our defense

The biggest robbery here is Nate Williams being totally overlooked.
