In a column discussing Twitter, Facebook and other newfangled devices and their potential for delicious PSYOPS within the college football landscape, Bob Hunter stops to wonder what Woody would have been like on Twitter.
Setting aside the fact that Woody would have liked Twitter about as much as he would have appreciated seeing Charles Woodsen Desmond Howard strike the Heisman pose, if he were a user, we can imagine it would look something like this:

Awesome!!! LMFAO Awesome, especially the "sissies" comment.
Ha! Good way to start the week. Well done.
"about as much as he would have appreciated seeing Charles Woodsen strike the Heisman pose"
Did you mean Desmond Howard's famous Heisman pose in the endzone?
Wil,
No offense, btu does it really friggin' matter?
Wow, how much could our team use Woody? Don't get me wrong I love JT, but now and then you need a guy that is who he is no matter who's listening.
I think that's tressel in a nutshell.
That's why we respect him, he is who he is. His system is as advertised.
You've got to be kidding me, fans today would have hated Woodyball. The way they rip Tress and his coaches for not putting poinst onthe board, how do you think fans today would recieve Woody's "3 yards and a cloud of dust" offense. For those of you not old enough to remember Woody, I assure you, he firmly believed 3 points was enough to win any game, if you didn't give up more than 2. And wasn't it Woody that said there are only 3 things that can happen when you pass the ball, and 2 of them are bad. Remember him, revere him, and cherish his memory, but PLEASE, leave dealing with today's fans to Tress. To be honest, Coach Tressel may not be as firey as Woody on the outside, but his tactics and beliefs are dead on with Coach Hayes. I think Woody would agree, the right mans has the job now.
Know your enemy iball.......know. your. enemy.
"Anyone wearing those damned helmets looks the same to me..."

You gotta admit that the old SOB could motivate. I would bet that him and Patton would be best buds.
"i don't care what they are teaching these youngsters in gender studies class. if you are playing like a god damn sissy, i am going to call you a sissy."
My point wasn't really about coaching style, but more about Woody not really caring who heard what was on his mind. i got a feeling the Tress we see and hear in the media isn't the same Tress behind closed doors. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the one time JT came close to calling someone out (the 314 days to Ann Arbor speech or whatever), the guys really seemed to respond. I know you can go overboard with the mouth sometimes, but every once in a while it may not hurt to voice some confidence in your guys and tell the world we're coming to whoop somebody's a**!!!!
Classic
I long for when I finally get to heaven and sit on a park bench between Woody and Patton when they hold one of their millennial swearing contests!
