Game Week, Again
We don’t know yet whether it’ll be C.J. Bacher or the talented backup, Kafka, leading the Wildcats into battle this weekend. We do know, that Evanston is one hell of a fun place to catch a Buckeye game.
We mentioned this a few weeks back, but if you’re heading to Chicago for the game, we’re having a get-together of sorts at Moran’s this Friday (8pmish). We’ve heard from a few of you and would love to meet some of the other aspiring offensive coordinators that frequent this site. From downtown or Evanston, it’s an easy find from the Addison Red Line stop.

Scores of the three NW games since they beat us in ‘04:
2007: 58 - 7
2006: 54-10
2005: 48-7
Tressel basically comes out in a black cape and sweatervest combo with a nefarious goatee and brutally butchers Northwestern for shaming us with that loss every year.
I’d have felt a bit better about the losses to USC and PSU if girls making out were more prominently involved.
*Song Girls making out.
those girls? if all NW girls are that ugly….count me out
PS.
If I saw Barry Switzer on the street, I would physically assault him.
Meow!
Also, in case anyone missed it, ESPN Classic will air a replay of the Texas/Texas-Tech game Tuesday @ 7ET.
I am not even going to watch the NW game. Games like these have proven to be nothing but a buzz-kill all year long.
From Fox:
“USC going on Holiday?
Don’t look now, Trojans, but while you’re still hoping to get into the BCS championship game, there’s a very real possibility you’re headed for the Holiday Bowl. Cutting through the red tape, here’s how it works: If Oregon State sweeps its last four games, the Beavers are Pac-10 champions and head to the Rose Bowl.
You think the Trojans would still be selected as an at-large team? Think again. Nine of the 10 BCS spots are already pretty well spoken for (6 BCS conference champions, 1 other conference champion, 2 runners-up from Big 12 and SEC). That leaves one more spot, and the only way for USC to get into a BCS game would be for the Trojans to convince the Rose Bowl to dog Big Ten runner-up Ohio State and select the Big East champion (West Virginia?), leaving the Sugar Bowl to choose USC, which is not going to happen.”
Wow.
Oregon State will never ever ever ever ever win 4 straight games, I’ll bet your first born child it doesn’t happen.
Matt is 100% correct - it is either us or Penn St versus USC in the Rose and I would not only bet all of your children, but Matt’s as well… my preference, let the nits try their hand, although their offense didn’t look any better than ours once they face a real living, breathing defense (da bullets)
If USC gets left out of a BCS bowl game and goes to the Holiday Bowl, Mark May will literally shit a football.
