A longtime reader from the UK sent us this picture of her cable company's description of this week's game against Ohio University.
Funny how things get lost in translation - or maybe I'm the only one out of the loop regarding our "rivals" from southeastern Ohio? Of course, the coolest part is that our Buckeyes are "heavily fancied".
Anyone up for tea and an OU asskicking?

That is awesome.
Maybe 'fancied' means favored in Britain.
I also didn't know they were our rivals. Who knew?
favoured, jf. heavily favouuurrreedd
Im going to have a jolly good time drinking pints at the pub thats for trues!!
i think the bigger question is, what sport is slovakia playing northern ireland...and why aren't we getting it stateside?
They write pretty funny down there in Lexington, Kentucky don't they?
It's "arse"-kicking, by the way. Not ass-kicking. :)
I think a Laurinaitis slobber-knocker is still a slobber-knocker on either side of The Pond.
Damn you Beaver, I was gonna make that joke!
Its the Sky satellite network, which is from Britain.
Hence the post saying the picture was sent from a Buckeye fan living in Britain.
I forwarded this to my brother, who lives in London. I asked him to go down to Ladbrokes and put a few quid on the game for me.
Damn, I can't believe I'm going to miss the Eels-Warriors game...The Warriors are at home, but the Eels are fancied by one.
LOL.....!
