CFB's Cheap Shots Of The Year

The Wiz has his Cheapest Shots of 2007 out and through the wonder of computer technology, you, too, can relive the dirtiest moments from this past football season.

Special commendation goes to Florida and Auburn for landing on the list with two cheap shots, while Washington's Jake Locker was the only two-time victim. One came against Ross Homan:

The poll is open, so be sure to get your vote in. If nothing else, stop by just to check out the slow motion replay of Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell receiving the blindside of the year.

My vote went for Travis Thomas, for what it's worth. Cheap Shot Like A Champion, Travis... especially in front of the referee.

I voted for the USC guy, because it was just so blatant. Locker was clearly out of bounds and the guy jacked him up pretty good. But it looks like A&M is going to get a repeat win if the current voting holds up. You gotta hand it to Ross Homan. He was really giving Locker the business, but there was no flag! Chris Spielman would say he was just "cleaning up the pile".

Homan's head isn't even turned toward Locker. His fingers are gripping a hard, edged object that could just as well be the shoulder pad. I don't see any malicious intent on Homan's part at all.

It warranted a penalty, but it wasn't a cheap shot. Now, Robert Reynolds....

Is Robert Reynolds gonna have to choke a bitch?
