The top eight in our ballot were unchanged over last week. We're fighting every homer instinct inside of ourselves not to bump Ohio State over West Virginia and Cal, but all of this will play itself. Cal has to visit Oregon this weekend in what's sure to be an insane environment and other ranked teams will face a quality opponent either this weekend (WVU @ USF) or the following.
Newcomers this week are Georgia (#19), the "U" (#24) and Mark Dantonio's Spartans (#25), while Louisville, Arkansas and Nebraska fall out. It's rare that a team drops after a victory, but that Nebraska defense looks to be pretty terrible.
As always, you can check the ballots of every voter and the final version is due Wednesday morning, so get your thoughts in by Tuesday night if you think we got it wrong.

Henton added to the 2 deep - still listed after Robbie Bellisari, but he had not been on the 2 deep until this week. Brandon Saine was taken off the depth chart due to injury. Beanie listed as #1 - I assume that means he was able to practice today. My fingers are crossed.
Dave - Who do we bump out to move ASU in? Convince us.
Bump Thug U. Sure their only loss is to Oklahoma (who I still say is overrated), and they're just coming off a win on Texas A&M (who was also pretty overrated), but I still say they need to prove more. Now, I wouldn't argue that the talent level at Miami is any less than ASU, but I certainly wouldn't say it's any more. Even having said that, I realize that ASU hasn't played anyone to write home about, but their defense is dominant at times and when their offense is in sync, they can score at will it seems.
Plus, as Corey stated, we have the most beautiful girls in the nation. Can't that count for some points? :)
