Marlo and Snoop were not impressed
Well, I guess that's what you call a good old-fashioned ass kicking.
Florida placed four guys in double figures and dominated in every facet of the game on their way to a 26 point win. Florida took control of the game after a 15-0 run gave them a 33-20 lead with just under 4 minutes left in the first half. Ohio State closed to 38-29 at intermission and tied the game at 38 with 17:34 left after an Ivan Harris three but Florida answered with an insane 30-7 run that dazed and humbled the young Buckeyes.
Taureen Greed led Florida with 24 points and Corey Brewer had 18. The supposedly injured Al Horford took it to Greg Oden with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The Gators beat up on OSU, outrebounding the Buckeyes 37-23 and shooting 58% from the floor including 47% on threes (9/19).
Mike Conley Jr. was the only Buckeye who bothered to show up notching 13 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Daequan Cook had a strong first half with 7 points but was held scoreless in the second. Oden had 7 points and 7 rebounds and a couple nice blocks but overall it was a somewhat lazy performance. Oden appeared completely out of gas on at least three different occasions. Not much else to say about this game. We got spanked and in truth we have looked like garbage since we led UC 42-14 at halftime last Saturday. Hopefully, OSU will snap out of this holidaze next Saturday against Coppin State so we can get our mojo back before we start the Big11Ten season on January 2nd.

That's the beauty of college hoops. 65 teams get a shot in March.
Still, that was tough to watch.
You think Thad can recruit Marlo and Snoop? They have a great way of "eliminating" the competition.
I would hope they would have a hard time getting in. They'd make fine 'Canes, though.
This team is having problems trying to get our one armed center to fit in. It might be time to go back to the run and fun style they had when they played Carolina and tell Oden he'll have to keep up.
I agree...the offense has stunk ever since oden returned...Once he can actually use his right hand, then we can feed the post all day...
[...] the same season. Obviously, the Buckeyes will have their hands full. As you recall, Florida put a 26 point thrashing on OSU back in December. Of course, Oden was just getting back on the court after wrist surgery and the [...]
