No. 1 Ohio State men's volleyball has been dominant this season, and have compiled a 18-0 record on the season so far. Perhaps more impressive than just those wins, though, is the team's MIVA record-breaking 41 consecutive wins.

With its win over Saint Francis in Columbus tonight, the Ohio State men's volleyball team took the top spot in the MIVA record books with the longest win-streak in its history.

The Buckeyes' record-breaking 41st consecutive victory came in four sets over the Red Flash and toppled the previous record set by Loyola in 2014-15.

Included in this impressive win streak is the fact that the Buckeyes have won over 80% of total sets during the streak, and have taken down 18 teams ranked in the top 12. The 41-win streak also extends the school record for consecutive wins for teams competing in head-to-head competition.

The Buckeyes continue to move closer to the NCAA record of 47 consecutive wins, set by UCLA in 1979-80 and 1983-85.

The team's next match comes March 10 against UC San Diego, a team which received votes to be ranked in the top 15, and then another match on March 11 against No. 6 UC Irvine.
