Ohio State’s full schedule for the 2026 season was released on Tuesday, and it’s a gauntlet.
The Buckeyes are set to face what could be five of the Big Ten’s top six teams in 2026 – Indiana, Oregon, USC, Michigan and Iowa – in addition to a road game at Texas.
With only one bye week, albeit a well-timed one in between road trips to Indiana and USC, there will be few reprieves for the Buckeyes once the season gets started. Four of Ohio State’s six toughest games will be played on the road, and the Buckeyes will have to make more lengthy trips than usual.
The good news is that they’ll be far more battle-tested entering the postseason than they were last season, but they have to get there first, as there are plenty of games with the potential to trip them up in their quest to make a third straight College Football Playoff.
Now that we know when Ohio State will play each of its 12 opponents in 2026, Eleven Warriors' Dan Hope, Chase Brown and Andy Anders break down the biggest challenges of Ohio State’s 2026 schedule and make their initial predictions for what the Buckeyes’ regular-season record will be on a new episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch in the video at the top of the page.
