Wilson is the first wide receiver in NFL history to earn more than $31 million annually despite having only played three seasons in the league. The former No. 10 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft has delivered consistent production in each of his first three years with the Jets despite having suboptimal quarterback play in all three seasons. He's surpassed the 1,000-yard mark every season as a pro, has never missed a game and has recorded 14 receiving touchdowns, including a career-high of seven last season. In all, he's collected 279 catches for 3,249 and 14 touchdowns in 51 games.
No shortage of intrigue surrounds Wilson as he enters his fourth season as a pro, considering he'll be reunited with former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. In his first season as the Jets' head coach, former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn told reporters after the team's OTAs he plans to get Wilson the ball "as much as possible."
