The 2025 spring game has come and gone, which means the Buckeye fanbase has plenty of new visual evidence to fuel either optimism or dread across both sides of the ball.

On this week’s Eleven Dubcast, Johnny and I recap the afternoon in its entirety by borrowing the classic “buy or sell” segment from Around the Horn in our mission to determine the positives and negatives from the event as they apply across the roster. Johnny attended the game in person and I watched what proved to be a very homerish Big Ten Network broadcast, so we put our perspectives together to provide some detailed feedback.

Additionally, the Dubcast discussion also covers:

  • Julian Sayin seemed to have the most positive day of the quarterbacks that played. Did this performance definitely separate himself from Lincoln Kienholz in the starting QB battle?
  • The running back room remains unproven, but the potential for a deep rotation seems positive. Does the slimmed-down version of C.J. Donaldson remind anyone else of Quinshon Judkins?
  • Mylan Graham clearly had the best spring game of anybody in an OSU uniform. Could the Buckeyes have lived with letting Carnell Tate leave if the asking price had been too high? Should Graham get consideration for WR3 over Brandon Inniss?
  • Ask Us Anything — writers to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com this week inquired about many topics, such as where do we see ourselves in 30 years? Obviously still doing the Dubcast!
  • Nico Iamaleava has brought forth a massive amount of NIL drama at Tennessee. Will a Big Ten team give him the dollar amount he’s looking for? What does the Volunteers’ stand say about the current state of the QB market in college football relative to what someone like Bryce Underwood received from Michigan?

And that does it for the Dubcast this week! Watch the show now on YouTube above, listen via the mini player below or visit our Transistor page for links to other listening options such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
