A blow to the head on a tackle attempt sent Cameron Brown to the medical tent in the second quarter against Maryland.

The Ohio State cornerback looked to take down Maryland running back Challen Faamatau on a pass play to the sideline late in the first half, but stayed down after the play. The fourth-year corner eventually got up and went to the medical tent with trainers thereafter.

Brown, who tore his Achilles against Penn State on Oct. 31, 2020, has dealt with injury issues to start the 2021 season, having missed two of the Buckeyes' first six games of the season. Brown started at corner against Oregon and Tulsa, but has come off the bench against Rutgers and Maryland over the past two weeks.

Senior cornerback Sevyn Banks, who did not play at all in the first two games of the season, has started the past three games at cornerback alongside true freshman Denzel Burke. Burke has started all six games for Ohio State at the position.
