Could lightning strike twice in the Peach State? Ohio State found success at Suwanee's Peach Tree Ridge in 2010 with Bradley Roby and are going back to the well in 2015. This past weekend, Chad Clay – a four star defensive back – and his family traveled north to Columbus and it's safe to say the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder was impressed.

"Yes," Clay told Eleven Warriors on his way home Sunday afternoon. "It was the best visit I've been on overall. I've been to a lot of places but they're up there with the best."

Clay, who holds scholarship offers from Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida among his near dozen total, said the trip's highlight wasn't football related.

"I never expected to like it that much," Clay said, acknowledging that he'd talked to some peers about what Ohio State would be like before he made the trip. "I learned so much about Ohio State as a school itself. Me and my parents had a talk with Urban Meyer in his office for about an hour and it was good to sit down and meet with him off the field and just talk about life."

He also had a chance to spend quality time with a few of the Buckeyes' younger stars.

"I hung out a lot with Raekwon McMillan and his roommates, Johnnie Dixon and D-Webb (Damon Webb)," he continued. "It was fun to just see what life was like in Columbus and hear them talk about why they like playing for Ohio State and coach Meyer. They're good people."

The country's 220th-ranked overall player and 22nd-ranked cornerback says he has a tentative timeline for a decision and some big visits coming up this week. Could one visit to Columbus be enough to give the Buckeyes a real shot?

"I will probably make a decision at the end of May," Clay said. "I will probably visit Georgia sometime this week and Florida sometime this week, too. There's no pressure at all to stay close to home, I mean of course there's some talk from peers and fans give their opinions but at the end of the day it's my decision. I have to make the best choice for myself and my life. Another trip (to Ohio State) would be great but it would be fine if I didn't have one."

The home-state Bulldogs are currently the leaders in the 247Sports crystal ball for Clay, but the Buckeye visit is one that could shake things up a bit.
