Chris Holtmann expects his team to be tested at the Maui Invitational this week.
The Buckeyes are a perfect 3-0 this season but will face a stiff test against No. 17 San Diego State on Monday in their opening game of the tournament. Ohio State will take on either Cincinnati or Arizona in the second matchup.
"It's a great challenge," Holtmann said of the invitational. "It will be a challenge to play one great team after another."
Holtmann continued, saying that the field in this year's tournament is exceptionally talented. The Ohio State head coach said his players must be on top of their game and do all the little things right to win games.
The Buckeyes are scheduled to tip off with the Aztecs at 9 p.m. on Monday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
