Virginia starting point guard London Perrantes is set to miss his team's game at Ohio State, the school announced Tuesday. The game is part of the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Perrantes had an appendectomy Sunday and his status moving forward for the Cavaliers is unknown, but he won't suit up with his teammates at the Schottenstein Center against the Buckeyes.

The junior from Los Angeles is averaging 10 points, 5.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game this season while shooting 47.8 percent from beyond the arc in Virginia's first six contests.

Tipoff between the Buckeyes and Cavaliers is set for 7:30 p.m. at Value City Arena.
