Free Agency Starts At Midnight Tonight   July 1

12:35 p.m.

Andre Iguodala is set for a meeting with the San Antonio Spurs. There is a chance he will not return to Golden State, despite the Warriors' desire to retain his services.

Kevin Durant has reached out to Rudy Gay, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, who revealed the possibility on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. Durant and Gay are both from Maryland and have an established relationship.

Gay is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered in January.

12:05 p.m.

• Patty Mills will remain in San Antonio. Tony Parker's backup point guard — and perhaps replacement — will make $50 million over four years.

• Jeff Teague is heading to Minnesota, but for $2 million more than reported earlier. It's a three-year, $57 million deal.

• Milwaukee is keeping Tony Snell on a four-year, $46 million contract. The Bucks acquired him last October from Chicago for Michael Carter-Williams.

Midnight

David Aldridge reported that he heard amid the Paul George rush that the Cavs have interest in Zach Randolph and will contact him Saturday. Randolph, 35, has regressed but still averaged 14.1 points and 8.2 rebounds last season for Memphis. He started just five games and played in 73 during the regular season.

11:28 p.m.

Stephen Curry isn't going anywhere. Marc Stein of ESPN reported that Curry and the Golden State Warriors are set to agree on a five-year "supermax" contract worth $201 million.

11:15 p.m.

Nene is staying in Houston. Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports the Rockets have retained Nene on a four-year, $15 million deal.

The Rockets lost their veteran inside presence in May to a torn muscle in his left thigh.

Feigen wrote earlier Friday, "the Rockets would like to limit his regular-season workload and have traded the backup, Montrezl Harrell, that allowed that to work last season."

9:53 p.m. -- Paul George traded to Oklahoma City

George is headed to Oklahoma City to team with reigning MVP Russell Westbrook, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis appear headed to Indiana.

9:30 p.m

Boston, will entertain free agent Gordon Hayward. The Celtics are banking on his connection with former Butler coach Brad Stevens.

Meanwhile, a piece from last season's team could be on his way out of Boston.

Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News reports power forward Amir Johnson could be headed to the 76ers.

8:25 p.m.

Washington has offered All-Star point guard John Wall a four-year contract extension, reports Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.

The deal could pay Wall $170 million with the designated player exception, also known as the "supermax." Wall will take time to consider the offer, Windhorst added.

. Only players who have made All-NBA, won the MVP or defensive player of the year can be eligible for it.

8:15 p.m

Former Cavaliers general manager David Griffin has been mentioned as a candidate to lead the New York Knicks. After the team parted with Phil Jackson, this story came from Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

7:05 p.m

Andre Iguodala will first meet with the San Antonio Spurs, reported Chris Haynes. Earlier in the day, Haynes tweeted that Iguodala did not plan on meeting with the Warriors when free agency began.

6 p.m. -- Rubio headed to Utah

Jazz forward Gordon Hayward is among the biggest free agents available this summer. He isn't scheduled to meet with Utah until Monday.

However, the Jazz are already making moves with the acquisition of point guard Ricky Rubio from Minnesota. The Salt Lake Tribune confirmed the deal.

Utah will send a 2018 first-round pick it acquired Oklahoma City two years ago in a deal for forward Enes Kanter. This move should boost the Jazz's hope to retain Hayward, but it likely means the exit of George Hill.      -cleveland.com-

At least 10 teams are projected to have space under the $99 million cap.

The Cavaliers are expected to make Kyle Korver an offer to return to the team when NBA free agency begins at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, sources told cleveland.com.

Meanwhile, they are waiting to see whether Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks agree to a buyout. The latest reports suggest that will not happen.

The Cavs are in negotiations with the second-round pick from the 2015 draft. They own his rights, acquiring him on draft night two years ago with Rakeem Christmas and a 2019 second-round pick for first-round guard Tyus Jones of Duke.

Jones appeared in 60 games this season for Minnesota, averaging 3.5 points.

If Osman comes to Cleveland, he is a 6-foot-8 forward known to provide an energy boost. He averaged 7.1 points in 35 games last season in the Euroleague.
