Following the 2026 NFL Draft where 11 Buckeyes were selected, Ohio State is primed for another massive haul in 2027. While generational talent Jeremiah Smith is the heavy favorite to be the #1 overall pick and the program's historic 100th all-time first-rounder, he leads a deep class of future pros. Beyond Smith, fans should expect at least five more Buckeyes to be drafted next spring, including Brandon Inniss and elite edge rusher Kenyatta Jackson Jr. With reliable contributors like Earl Little Jr. and Payton Pierce also rising on draft boards, Columbus is once again positioned to put players in the NFL ranks. Maybe 6 or more but hard to forecast it. But if the OL can play lights and make themselves draftable that would be 4 players right there. Who knows.
