We all know the significance of the ever changing landscape surrounding college football’s current evolution.  2024 marks the dawn of a new age.  A clear new era, the twelve-team playoff.  Everything up to this point is largely irrelevant.  What happens now, will reverberate throughout the echoes of time.  
 

  The current roster, bolstered by experience, transfer power, and those who chose to return, have the opportunity to set the tone for Ohio State Football.  Records, accolades, championships, everything pre-dating the inaugural 2024 Twelve team playoff holds no weight.  The only reward that matters is the 2024 National Championship.  
 

  I’m confident Coach Day and his peers are making the correct off-season decisions required to position the team for a historic run.  The current roster and incoming recruits will be a nightmare for the Big Ten.  Being in this position of favorability at this pivotal time in history is arguably more important than any achievements prior to now.  
 

  The 2024 National Champion will be the first true King of College Football.  Just as Ohio State was the first playoff victor in the inaugural 2014 CFP, with proper preparation and attitude, Ohio State is poised to capitalize a historic tone-setting moment in time.
