Why I am especially impressed OSU pulled out this road win.
Going into tonight's game, Sam Hartman had 1,687 career pass attempts. Kyle McCord? 134 career pass attempts. So Hartman has had more than 1500 pass attempts more than McCord (or more than 12 times as many attempts). That, ladies and gentlemen, is a HUGE disparity, and constituted a HUGE advantage for ND.
Second, OSU, with its 3 new OL starters and only 3 starting seniors on offense faced a very veteran ND defense. How veteran you ask? ND's starting defense has TEN seniors! (7 4-yr, 2 5-year, and 1 6-yr).
Given these disparities I am super impressed OSU pulled out a road win. Go Bucks! (Mods, please delete if this doesn't suffice as a forum starter.)
