I am perplexed as to why people are bothered by his choice to wear #33. 

I’ve seen it here and there always attached to a snarky comment or something implying that he can’t possibly be a good player because of his jersey number. 
 

He has explained why he chose it and I think it’s kinda neat, but ultimately it’s a number that any QB can choose to wear.
