This Week's Question: What Are You Most Intrigued to See About Ohio State's Week 1 Game Against Indiana?

The popular answer for most will be the quarterbacks, of course.

But I think the offensive line construction/production will be equally as intriguing. By now, Ryan Day has said Josh Simmons is going to start at left tackle, and Josh Fryar will likely start at right tackle, ditto Carson Hinzman at center.

In a hostile environment while breaking in a new quarterback, how the protection holds up will be essential to a smooth start offensively to the 2023 campaign. While OSU has a talent advantage over Indiana at nearly every single position, Tom Allen isn't afraid of blitzing, and you can expect he'll do it often against a new quarterback and offensive line. Simmons in particular has always dominated with his athleticism, but has had a problem with penalties in the past. Does that continue Week 1 on the road?

If the first few offensive drives stall out, how quickly does Day/Justin Frye shake things up? I'm expecting Ohio State to start 1-0, and to do so quite comfortably. But the offensive line is a top storyline I'll be keeping an eye on.
