Good morning, Eleven Warriors readers! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

The fact that we are just 19 days away from Ohio State's season opener is crazy, to be honest. This year has truly flown by and I, like most of you, cannot wait until football season.

With that in mind, I give you This Week's Question: If you could create the perfect 2024 Ohio State football schedule, what would it be? The Big Ten already released the 2024 conference schedule but with the recent additions of Oregon and Washington, they will have to scrap those schedules and do them again.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • With Ohio State having just six homes this season, they'll likely have at least seven (and probably eight) home games next season, five of which will be Big Ten games due to the Buckeyes having just four home conference games in 2023.
  • Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington will all be in the Big Ten starting next season.
  • Remember to include a bye week but you can (and should) be strategic with that, too.
  • You want this schedule to not only give the Buckeyes the best shot to make the expanded 12-team CFP that will debut in 2024, but also give OSU fans a regular season that they will love.

My answer:

  • Week 1: vs. USC
  • Week 2: vs. Ohio
  • Week 3: vs. Florida Atlantic
  • Week 4: vs. Tulsa
  • Week 5: at Maryland
  • Week 6: vs. Penn State
  • Week 7: at Minnesota
  • Week 8: at Oregon
  • Week 9: Bye
  • Week: 10: vs.Wisconsin
  • Week 11: at Illinois
  • Week 12: vs. Nebraska
  • Week 13: vs. Michigan
